Cold Wind System supports environmental conservation efforts by offering technology to the agro-export sector. Mathematical calculations determine the number of deflectors required within a reefer container to control and evenly distribute cold air from the back to the door area. This process prevents premature ripening of perishables during maritime transport exceeding 15 days.
The deflectors used to regulate airflow and pressure are made of fully recyclable cardboard. Both the deflectors and the algorithm powering the Cold Wind System app are pending patent approval with the IMPI (Mexican Institute of Industrial Property) and are expected to be protected in 122 countries.
