Cold Wind System: Earth-friendly technology

Today, April 22, 2024, we celebrate Earth Day and recognize the need for action against the following threats:

  • 2023 was the hottest year on record, intensifying the climate crisis with increasing heatwaves, droughts, lake desiccation, and glacier melting, all altering ecosystems.
  • 66% of oceans are impacted by human activity, with pollution acidifying waters, rising sea levels, and polar ice loss. Only 1% of international waters are protected.
  • The industrial production required for human needs generates significant waste, but recycling efforts fall short—less than 50% of packaging waste is processed, and textile recycling is just 21%.

Against this backdrop, 2024 is expected to be the year global emissions begin to decrease. Cold Wind System contributes to this goal by preventing greenhouse gases from forming due to the ripening of fruits and vegetables during maritime transport. Products arrive fresh at their destination with an extended shelf life.
