Cold Wind System measures air flow and pressure inside a refrigerated container (reefer).
To benefit from the system, users must download the App from the Play Store or App Store onto their phone or tablet. After installation, users register to create a profile.
The technology can then be used immediately for any shipment of fresh perishables transported by sea. The App provides step-by-step tutorials on measuring air flow and pressure within the container. If a risk is detected, the App indicates the number of deflectors to place on the container floor to ensure cold air reaches the door side.
The App works alongside an anemometer and deflectors, which are placed on the container floor when needed. However, deflectors are only required if the App identifies a risk.
Both the App and the deflectors are patent-pending and aim to be protected in 192 countries.
In addition to tutorials, users receive 24/7 support via phone or WhatsApp from specialized technicians.
Finally, in Peru, a Cold Wind System technician is assigned to personally measure air flow and, when necessary, place deflectors in each container.
