In February of this year, 2023, we woke up to news: “Avocado containers are being held for review for being committed to transporting illicit products.” The interesting thing here is that the shipping company reported what happened 15 days late; They asked if they put the containers on the ship or returned them to the packaging, the answer was to get them on. There were 14 containers of Cold Wind System users and the same number of non-users.
When the time for arrival in Japan arrived, a group of exporters who had made the decision to send the product even 15 days late, agreed to form a common front to file a class action lawsuit and have the shipping company cover the damages, the users from Cold Wind System doubted that the fruit would arrive fresh, non-users were sure that the fruit would arrive ripe.
For our part, we, confident and certain of the effectiveness of the Cold Wind System, suggested to our users that they did not participate in the lawsuit, that they wait until they reviewed the loads of each container. We knew that our users’ containers would arrive perfect, without any damage, which they did. As a result of that experience we now have a new user, who has already been using Cold Wind System for many shipments.
